Re: Royal Ascot 2014 ~ Day 2 Wednesday 18th Royal Ascot 2:30 - Jersey Stakes(Group 3) (1) 7f Brazos seems to be completely dismissed by the bookmakers here and I think the available 40/1 is a ridiculous price for the Clive Brittain charge. This horse is the only course winner in the field and form around Ascot can be a big advantage. He finished 3rd in a good handicap at Newbury behind Muwaary in April and made no mistake next time when he beat Wee Jean comfortably over course and distance. William Buick takes the ride again on the horse and we all know how talented this guy is in the saddle, another plus. Of course the horse has to improve to win this but I had him down as a 16/1 - 20/1 chance in my tissue so an each-way bet is warranted.
