Re: Wells Fargo > May 1st - 4th Have to say I'm disappointed with the field this week at Quail Hollow - a track that deserves a far better depth of players. The change in green construction from Bent to Bermuda has probably put a few off and a +7,500 yard Par 72 doesn't appeal to every player I suppose. Three players at longer prices who I think will go very well this week are Brian Harman (100/1), Russell Henley (100/1) and Lucas Glover (125/1). The latter is a course specialist who has been playing brilliantly from tee to green in recent appearances. Amazing how the putter clicks for some of these players. Henley is a Charlotte based individual who missed the cut when I tipped him up at Harbour Town a fortnight ago. The move from Bent to Bermuda will be right up his street and he's a long hitting aggressive player who can putt well - the perfect mix for Quail Hollow. That leaves Harman whose progression this season has been appreciable. He's ready to contend and win a Tour title this season. Harman comes to the fore on tougher/classical tests and Quail fits the bill perfectly.

Re: Wells Fargo > May 1st - 4th Lee Westwood 16/1 EW Paddy Power 6 places Lee Westwood would appear to be in the zone right now. After a comfortable win in Malaysia he returns to the PGA tour and to a venue pretty much to his liking, finishing in the top 5 at Quail Hollow over the past two years. This lengthy course holds little fear to big hitter Westwood and tee to green he is pretty much one of the worlds best. Not the strongest of fields it has to be said and with Mc Ilroy dropping out of the top ten it's time to take advantage Lee.

Re: Wells Fargo > May 1st - 4th Tournament preview: 1pt ew J.Walker to win Wells Fargo Championship 35/1 Betfred (1/4 1-5) With ball striking being such an important thing this week I like Jimmy Walker. He’s been in good form for a while now and tees it up for the first time since his top 10 finish in the Masters earlier in the month. That was a good performance on a tough course so we know he can play these sort of courses. Walker’s all round game is very good but he’s particularly finding fairways and can hole putts and that should make him a leading contender this week.
