Racing Attire.

Recommended Posts

Ok. Admittedly one of the more....fruity topics, to be started. And I did scour for a 'Other rather non related but still kind of is' section. However, as someone who's a fan of racing but not much of a regular on course, and is going along to a stag do that involves a bit of racing, what's the accepted wear? Or is the likes of dress code only for your Ascot etc. Don't know what course we're ending up at, but apparently that's the plan. I eagerly look forward to the form guides and spreadsheets being tossed aside for the forum's Gok Wan's. Thanks.

Re: Racing Attire. Ive witnessed many stag do's at racing venues and to be honest the majority of them seem to want to dress up for the occasion whether you need to or not. I suppose thats why i knew most of them were stag do's, they stick out a mile. When you decide on the course check out their website and nearly all have a dress code page, you are right though its only the likes of Ascot that seem to insist on jackets, ties etc.... Also check out the discounts for bulk bookings, you can get some good deals by buying 10+ tickets at once and leave you more for the beer. And finally let me know when it is and i'll give it a miss, i hate the boozy mobs, they should stick to Blackpool prom. :ok
