Re: Super League 2014 - Round 6 Thursday preview: 4pts Wigan (+8) to beat Warrington 10/11 Stan James Matches between these two are always high quality and I expect no different here. I think Warrington are just about worthy favourites but I’m not convinced there will be more than a score between the two sides at the end of the match so Wigan with the eight point start certainly appeals. They’ll have a little bit of fire in their bellies after Warrington helped the Roosters ahead of the World Club Challenge and that fire and determination can keep them within eight points of the Wolves here. Re: Super League 2014 - Round 6 Friday preview: 4pts Leeds (-44) to beat London 10/11 Ladbrokes London have already shipped 50 or more to Widnes and Wakefield this season while Warrington and Salford both put up over 40pts so you’ve got to think Leeds are going to fill their boots here. For the handicap it is just whether London can score a couple of tries. The cap is set at 44pts so London are likely to have to score 3 tries to stay within that. Nobody has scored more than 12 against Leeds this season yet so I think Leeds will cover 44pts here. Re: Super League 2014 - Round 6 Took 20/1 at betfred for the draw and covered the draw at 16/1 on -4 and -8. Loughlin not playing is a massive loss to Wigan, but in their favour, Myler is playing for Warrington, so, in effect, we are only playing with 1 halfback. This is a scratch game in my book.

Re: Super League 2014 - Round 6 Saturday preview: 4pts Huddersfield (-12) to beat Catalans 10/11 Ladbrokes France is never an easy place to go and get a result but with all the injuries the Catalans have I think this is as good a time as any to be heading there. The French side have lost a bit of power in their pack and their back line is severely weakened so Huddersfield, fresh from putting up a landslide on Bradford last week, should travel over the channel with plenty of confidence and can come away winners by more than a couple of scores. Re: Super League 2014 - Round 6 2 good calls Kevin, unfortunately, Hudds didn't bother turning up. Only a double for me today. Hull FC -14.... Joe Mellor missing for Widnes today, which is similar to no Briers for Warrington, plus, they are away from the distinctly advantageous home pitch. Widnes have been walloped at the Boulevard on both their previous visits. Wakefield +10.... No Luke Walsh for Saints, which means no go forward, which was evident in heir 2nd display against Catalans. They rely on Hohaia who goes sideways more times than a fiddler crab and Jon Wilkin, who regresses with each season and is a loose forward. Wakey boast a few wins at home against Saints in recent easons.
