National Hunt Racing > Tuesday March 18th

Exeter 2:30 I didn't see too much value in this race but a horse that looks maybe a point or two too big is the Colin Tizzard trained Henwood who should relish the step up in trip to 2m7f as he is related to the thorough stayer Hey Big Spender. He ran well considering he is bred to be a stayer over 2m1f at Taunton in January when he was 5th to Milo Milan at 50/1. He was then stepped up to 2m6f last time out at Wincanton and shaped with plenty of promise when he was 8th of 17 behind Tarabela. The further he gets stepped up in trip the more of a chance he is going to have and we should see improvement in this horse tomorrow, especially with Joe Tizzard taking over in the saddle. Henwood WIN @ 9/1 Paddy Power

Re: National Hunt Racing > Tuesday March 18th Exeter 4.10 - Imperial Circus 4/1 Paddy Power This isnt the greatest race in truth and a few have a point to prove and whilst I wouldnt go crazy in backing this horse I do think he can win off this mark and tomorrows conditions should be ideal (albeit he could probably he may prefer another couple of furlongs for them to be perfect). His more recent Cheltenham and Ludlow form has worked out well enough and while he doesnt do an awful lot in front which it is encouraging to see Dicky Johnson get the leg up on this Hobbs runner as its always better to have an experienced pilot on these types. Of the rest, Handy Andy has shown nothing now in 3 starts, Qianshan Leader could be interesting as conditions will suit him too but generally he will find one, Woodford County looks to want it softer, Max Bygraves hasnt really shown a whole lot just yet (though he could be an improver), Goring One is another that tends to find one and finally Aimigayle is still to prove she retains all of her old ability.
