Flat Racing > Tuesday March 4th

Recommended Posts

Southwell 5:10 Tom Queally takes the ride for Alan McCabe on Avonmore Star and there were signs last time out that this horse was coming back to life when he was 4th to Dimitar at 66/1 in a Class 5 at Wolverhampton over 7f. Both the 2nd and 3rd that day Conry and Strong Man have come out to win since so the form of that race is turning out to be pretty strong. This race tomorrow is a Class 6 and is a weaker race so I am very surprised to see this horse as the complete outsider of the field. He has not won on the all-weather yet but this is his lowest ever mark and he was placed off a 20 pound higher mark at Kempton in 2012 (78, runs off 58 tomorrow). The yard has also hit a bit of form, McCabe's last two runners have won at 12/1 and 4/1, one over the jumps. Avonmore Star WIN @ 10/1 Bet365

Re: Flat Racing > Tuesday March 4th not a lot out today so ill just tackle this 5.10 south 5.10 southwell dancing Freddie 97.52 caramalita 97.42 laughing rock 97.25 I don't really like this race because its full of maybes and possibles .......nothing really stands out on recent form so you have to delve into speculation ...............caramalita probably edges the pick of recent form but dancing Freddie ran his time after a one year layoff almost so should realistically be expected to better that now fully primed and looks on a very good mark if ready and that's was over this track and 5f ........but stays 6f so shouldn't be a problem .........looks a good e.w bet at 6/1 with bet365 ...........but betfair are offering caramalita at 8.4 and and dancing Freddie at 8.0 ...........that's got to be value in a 9 horse race so lets take the tag team caramalita 2pts win 8.4 betfair dancing Freddie 2pts win 8.0 betfair
