Re: England > Weekend > Skrill North & South Feb 22 Altrincham at home to Colwyn Bay (Evs widespread) Worth catching the drift here I think. It has been a rather puzzling start to the year for Alty, with some poor results, but this price is further out than I can make it. Bay have been in superb away form, of course, with one defeat and six wins in eight. They did Ferriby, which is a good result, but Gloucester, Worko, Staly and Vauxhall Motors were all good teams to meet when Colwyn Bay met them. Chelmsford City at home to Maidenhead United (21/20 Marathon) The wrong side of Evs for me. Chelmsford's burst of form hasn't really transformed their fortunes at home, but they look a much better proposition these days, even if they are still a work in progress. I was praising Luke Callender in the Step 4 antepost threads and he's stepped up two sections without blinking. Maidenhead were finding some form before the winter weather break, but they haven't scored in three games this year. Tonbridge Angels at home to Dorchester Town (19/20 Marathon) Better has been available this week, but this price is still better than my own. I worry about this Tonbridge defence but the attacking side of their game is certainly a lot more lively these days, as their excellent first half performance against Eastleigh proved. Dorchester scored an equally impressive win over Bromley last Saturday, and with loanees bolstering the starting XI they are certainly much more of a coherent proposition these days, but man for man I'd give the edge to Tonbridge. Guiseley at home to Leamington (Evs BetVics, Marathon) An odd drift that nudges the price into takeable territory. Guiseley have performed better in losing the last three than a big fat zero points suggest. Leam's own poor winless run now stretches to seven league games. I've commented before on the conservative tactic approach that hampers Leamington, and while smash'n'grab football worked for Worcester last time out at Guiseley, I can't see the home side falling for the same trick again.

Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Feb 22 anyone know why the odds on brackley town are in a freefall this morning against slaybridge. Only last leg in my ACCA and I would rather lay it off if there is some big news on the chances of the team.

The only news I've seen is that Staly's Callum Warburton is out for a year. Given their other injuries today (including Kristian Platt), they look as light as they have been at any time this season. If anything, Brackley are better value than they were 48 hours ago. There has only been a small drift but 19/20 Brackley is a very good price.

I had backed them at 1.80 but they are/were available at 2.05 at one bookie and at evens at another. Hence, though some new news came out. I dont like to lay my last legs of a winning acca, as even 5% eats into yearly profit, so in that case I am happy to let it ride. Thanks

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill North & South Feb 22 Weston - Dover Ath. Conference South England Saturday 22/2 16:00 Prediction: Dover Ath. Odds: 2,60 Stake: 4/10 Bookmaker: NordicBet Weston placed 6th at home to Dover placed 7th. Interesting info here since an alreay slightly weak defensive Weston misses two regular defenders. Dover with good form and is the second best awayside in the division. Regular defenders Gregson and Walker missing out due to injury. "Losing Dan Gregson is a blow, because he has been playing so well. He collected our player of the month award before the game against Bath and then suffered a really nasty injury" Dover should be able to get 3 points here against a Weston who already before these two injuries werent that reliable defensively, now they are weaker defensively. Gregson is a blow. http://nonleague.pitchero.com/.../double-blow-for-weston.../

Thanks[/quote'] FWIW Brackley lost and I cant be too sad about that cos Barrow lost too in another ACCA too. lol,Had these two as short-odd bankers and they both lost, while speculative larger-odd legs of the acca like dartford won handsomely. Sometimes betting is weird. You win the three 3/1 legs and lose the 1.2 leg. GL tommorrow everyone.

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill North & South Feb 22

Brackley should have won from what I can tell not sure about Barrow. Dartford weren't a risk, yes may have been a bigger price but they should have been odds on. Sent from my GT-I8190N using PL Forum
i agree. Any idea what happened to Barrow ? Brackley were winning till late and then I had to go and when i came back, they had let a late goal in. Anyway, such is football. We werent far off with our analysis. Hell, bigger favs get overturned like Barca tonight. I would have Brackley in my ACCA any day over Barca. Never though I would say that but win or lose, value is value.

Agree value is value and I would have the same bet again.
