Re: Super League 2014 - Round 2 & World Club Challenge Thursday preview: 4pts Wakefield (-10) to beat Bradford 10/11 Stan James Wakefield look a solid outfit despite the loss of Tim Smith and with Sammut coming into the side and boosting their creativity I think we can expect plenty from them in this match. Bradford were competitive for an hour against Castleford but lost their way at the end and I guess that’s no surprise with all the uncertainty around them. There’s no such problems with Wakefield and they can win their opening home game by more than 10pts. Re: Super League 2014 - Round 2 & World Club Challenge Friday preview: 4pts Leeds (-6) to beat Warrington 5/6 William Hill Leeds came out of the traps flying last week and look full of confidence whereas Warrington were battered by St Helens and injuries are already stacking up for them so I like the home side here. There doesn’t look like a weakness in the Leeds side at the minute and they look equally as potent down both flanks which will help them long term. With Warrington without a couple of key players I would expect Leeds to win with a bit to spare here. Re: Super League 2014 - Round 2 & World Club Challenge Although they are the outsiders in this game I have faith that Bradford have tries in them tonight, Brett Kearney has a great scoring record averaging better than a try every 2 games, he also scored home and away v Wakefield last season. I'm looking for him to get involved around the play the ball and make a few runs from dummy half hopefully catching Wakefield napping and getting himself over the try line. Re: Super League 2014 - Round 2 & World Club Challenge I agree that Bradford have tries in them here, there is an argument advanced by the Sportscompiler website that reckons the bookmakers have overreacted to last weekend's results and that Bradford getting 12 is worthy of consideration, it's a persuasive argument they put across. Forgot to say I've backed Bradford +12.

Good shouts on Bradford and Kearney guys :clap:clap World Club Challenge preview: 4pts Sydney Roosters (-16) to beat Wigan Warriors 10/11 Ladbrokes As much as the Englishman in me would love to see Wigan pull this off it is hard to ignore the sensational talent that is in this Roosters side. The only negative they have going into the contest is a lack of competitive action but Wigan haven’t had many games so it isn’t a big issue. Wigan will give this everything they’ve got but this Roosters side is special and in home surroundings I expect them to coast to victory. Re: Super League 2014 - Round 2 & World Club Challenge Carl Ablett isn't usually a name that comes to mind when I'm thinking about my tryscorers but I'm going out on a limb with him tonight. He's never been a prolific scorer but does know his way over the line, He's back playing in the pack which will mean more defensive duties but also a chance to support Moon and Hall on the Leeds left and exploit any breaks they make against a Warrington team that seems to be on the decline.
