Re: Sky Bet League 1 > January 24th & 25th Rotherham United - Crawley Town League 1 England Saturday 25/1 16:00 Prediction: Rotherham United Odds: 2,00 Stake: 7/10 units Bookmaker: WilliamHill Rotherham United is a team we like. Currently placed 6th in the table, a solid team who has been bosted during the transfer window with some good players, like for example the latest addition, from Middlesbrough midfielder Smallwood. To quote coach Evans: " Our squad has taken a nice shape in the last two weeks, we as a team Rotherham are significantly stronger for the changes made" This said to an already previously strong squad, Rotherham is a team that will without a doubt challenge for promotion. Crawley by all means no mugs, placed 15th in the table but has only won 2 matches on the road. With a rather thin squad, some team selection problems due to a couple of injuries/suspension we think Crawley are really up for it here. Rotherham a solid side with good depth. Rotherham have scored 45 goals in the league, compared to Crawley's 27. To us this is probably one of the best bets of the weekend, quite possibly one of the best in a few weeks. We raise the stakes here, our biggest bet so far. 7/10 units. Our stats so far on the bets we placed on PL, 118,28% on 40 predictions, 27,24 units + Kr,

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > January 24th & 25th 4pts Brentford vs Gillingham - Both teams to score Evs BetVictor I can see why Brentford are favourites for this match but I think they’re a little skinny even allowing for their excellent run. These are the sort of games where sides slip up – when they can see a reward at the end. The pressure is on them to win too with Orient not playing. I’m not sure Gillingham will stop the Bees but I can’t back the home side at 2/5. Brentford do concede goals. They’ve kept just one clean sheet in five so both could well score in this one. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > January 24th & 25th On sky again! This must be what it's like supporting a Prem side :lol..we seem to be very up and down, we were as bad as we have been for years away to Colchester two weeks ago losing 3-0 then turn in the best performance of the season so far in beating Swindon 2-0 last week. Home performances have generally been better than away where we tend to lose to better sides, unsure how we will set-up for this - as we usually do in a 4-4-2 with Akinfenwa and Macdonald up front or 4-5-1 as some are suggesting, I personally think this is asking for trouble as Macdonald can't play up front on his own he needs someone alongside him to hold the ball up, if he just plays up top on his own the ball will keep coming back, think we will stick 4-4-2. Kedwell has had his hernia operation and will be out for 6 weeks or so, he is important to the team in away games as he will press the opposition high up the pitch and hold up play, hopefully Bayo can do this as well. No other real injury problems, squad is in reasonable shape. Brentford are a powerhouse at home, make no mistake - won their last 8 at home scoring 3 or goals in 5 of those. We have been fairly evenly matched sides over the years playing each other many times, with their new investment though Brentford are certainly aiming for the Championship. I don't think Brentford are particularly backable at 1.4 or lower, they aren't some sort of lower league Barcelona, of our 12 L1 away games we haven't won that many but only failed to score in 3 of them, when you consider over 2.5 is best 1.7 I think the better bet is both teams to score at 1.9. This is provisional on us playing with two strikers though, if we field Macdonald up front on his own I wouldn't take the bet. Both Teams to Score - 1.9 - hills - 2 Points

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > January 24th & 25th Oldham - Peterborough League 1 England Saturday 25/1 16:00 Prediction: Peterborough Odds: 2,88 Stake: 4/10 units Bookmaker: Bet365 Two teams with different forms, Oldham in 17th place at home to Peterborough who currently are 5th. Oldham is a decent side who we respect, however they do struggle offensively with only scoring 27 goals in the 26 games played so far. Also recently they one of their top scorers A.Rooney left the club for Scottish side Aberdeen. Oldham comes here having lost 2 in a row without scoring. Peterborough have had some difficult times lately but heads to Oldham having won 2 in a row scoring 7 goals and things start to look better for Sir Alex son Darren who is the coach of Peterborough. Oldham away is tough, no doubt. But we see Peterborough as a team with offensive capacity which can hurt Oldham. Also h2h pretty decent stats for Peterborough aginst Oldham having won 4 of the last 5. We can not resist a odds of close to 3 on the better team.

Rotherham United - Crawley Town League 1 England Saturday 25/1 16:00 Prediction: Rotherham United Odds: 2,00 Stake: 7/10 units Bookmaker: WilliamHill Rotherham United is a team we like. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > January 24th & 25th Rotherham-Crawley Pick: over 2,5 @1.92 SBO for 7/10 Only positives vibes around Millers camp. After promoting last season, now playing on a bran new stadium they'll want to challenge another promotion. And looking at the transfer window they surely look up to it, since they have bought some nice pieces. Attacker Hitchcock, impressed at Crewe and now Rotherham took him from QPR just to continue his nice form, providing assists and goals. They also took attacker Thomas from Bournemouth and midfielder Turgott from West Ham and finally also Smallwood from M'Boro. Definitelly they are looking stronger now and last round performance at Shrewsbury is standing as a solid prove of that, as the Millers cruised past the struggling side, scoring 3 by HT and they could have score more, but they missed some chances and reduced their engines after the break. Hitchcock again delivered a nice performance, while Pringle also continued his fine form. Rotherham are more offensivelly oriented at home, they play attacking and i have no doubt they'll be going on Crawley's throats from the very first minute. Last time at their place they played a thrilling 4-2 with Crewe, they were also bit lucky since the Alex missed a penalty at 2-2. Crawley also feeling a bit better lately after a shaky first half of the season. Changing the manager surely bought some fresh air, and they did won 2 of their last 4, especially the win at leaders Orient 3-2 was bit surprising, but also the 2-2 at hot Coventry produced some positive waves around their camp, especially since they have managed to come from 2 goals behind, with 2 late goals. This is still an average team in my eyes, shaky at the back, and not so great up-front. But when they face the good teams they seem to raise to the opportunity and play their best game, they certainly can look like a nice passing team when they have the spaces. The Orient win was not so surprising if you look how they played at Posh, another sounding win 2-0, or at Wolves, barely lost 1-2 with a late penalty, but they did played good. They also trasfered former Rotherham attacker Tubbs and also a good addition might be midfielder Dicker and with Billy Clarke returning from suspension they should have all their offensive guns ready to deliver. Crawley also had a long period of rest, last round meeting with Wolves was postponed, so they might just came out flat in first half. I dont particulary enjoy taking overs when Crawley is involved, they seem that type of hard working team from middle table positions, with willingness to fight but limited in creating and scoring and they also they didnt received more than 2 goals in last 10, which means a trashing is out of the question, so we will have to count also on the Reds to contribute here, and i'm expecting them to do so, cause they are looking more lively lately, but i surely enjoy taking goals when Rotherham plays at New York stadium, they are looking great offensivelly, having many hot offensive weapons and they should score from first half, given their good form. I'm sure over 2,5 shouldnt be a problem, i can see the Millers scoring 2, while Crawley can definitelly add 1, but over 3,5 looks bit risky, will have to get lucky for this one. Let's role the dice, anyway:D

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > January 24th & 25th Notts County look big at 11/5. Grealish and McGregor are back after returning to the club on loan spells. They have an outstanding understanding and Notts seem to play their best when both are on the pitch. 5 games unbeaten at home against a patchy Walsall side.

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > January 24th & 25th Rotherham-Crawley Town 1 @ 1,9 WH stake 3 Low stake, because recently Crawley seems to show attacking face and away are collecting very good result. But home factor here can be decisive, team wants to push to promotion and this are the game to win to achieve that. Home stats are not that good with a lot of draws, but Rotherham has strenghtened their ranks and so i See this stat to change in positive manner. C'mon Millers do the job here!!

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > January 24th & 25th Another profitable weekend for us as we go 2 out of 4 with 110,47% ROI & +2,20 units for the day. But desperatly unlucky, should have been much more. Peterborough manage to lose the game away to Oldham despite being 3-0 up in HT. AFC Wimbledon and Tamworth won. Accrington game postponed. Rotherham had an off day and drew 2-2!
