Wolverhampton 5:30 Jamie Spencer has a good record when riding for Osborne here at Wolverhampton and they team up with Apostle who ran a good race in a claimer at Lingfield last time out when a nose second to Naabegha. He has eased in the weights again slightly now down to a mark of 85 and Spencer has a record of 2-1 from two rides on the horse so the booking is clearly a big positive. He was well backed last time out so they were expecting the horse to win last time out and maybe they can gain compensation tomorrow. Apostle WIN @ 5/1 Bet365

Re: Flat Racing > Friday January 3rd 330 southwell pick a little 96.01 ridgeway hawk 96.23 red shadow 95.86 pick alittle a hot fav in this relatively low class contest ........but he is penailised quite badly so 2/1 is far too short given the closeness of the ratings ........ridgeway hawk comes out top overall but 200+ day layoff huge negative so best value all round seems to lie with red shadow who looks nicely weighted today ..........has collateral formlines with fav which give him very good chance today especially as he has run well on surface in past 7/1 with Ladbrokes is three times price of fav so looks good e.w bet red shadow 2pts e.w 7/1 lads
