Re: Sky Bet League 2 > November 30th & December 1st Huge game for Southend in League Two this weekend as they take on Cheltenham at home in what should be one of two very winnable ties coming up before the Christmas rush, either side of the cup game against Chesterfield. With Oxford taking on Fleetwood and Chesterfield facing a tough trip to Newport there is surely a real opportunity here and on their away trip to Torquay in two weeks time to leapfrog their rivals into first place. Last night they grabbed a 2-1 victory over us after we scored what may be a goal of the season contender after only two minutes to go one up. What was impressive again about the way Southend did things is that they did it with ten men after Cauley Woodrow was sent off in the second half. They didn't settle for the point at all, but they kept going for the three points, which now gives them five wins on the bounce. With only two goals conceded in those five games they boast the second tightest defence in the league. Cheltenham have won two out of their last three away fixtures but both were against what I would consider bottom ten sides in Wycombe and Dagenham. They've only won six out of their last twenty five away league fixtures, and fair enough one of them was against Southend! But that was under different circumstances as Cheltenham were pushing for promotion through the playoffs and Phil Brown was yet to come in and set about changing the fortunes of Southend. Since that win for Cheltenham over Southend at Roots Hall last February and into this season these two sides have seen contrasting fortunes. Anything around evens looks like a value pick as Southend weren't fancied pre season and haven't been awarded much favourtism. For example, if this fixture was Chesterfield versus Cheltenham, Chesterfield would be odds on.

Re: Sky Bet League 2 > November 30th & December 1st Dagenham 6/4 (b365) to beat Wycombe I have had this in mind since the Daggers beat Burton very easily 2-0 because their home form is very good and it is an awkward ground to win at. Last 8 games at home reads 5-2-1 Wycombe with no wins in five are clearly in no form so the 6/4 about the Daggers looks even more value.
