Huntingdon 2:10 - William Hill The Jumps Michaelmas Hurdle (HANDICAP) (2) Very decent Class 2 handicap at Huntingdon tomorrow and the current favourite Broadway Buffalo should prove a very hard horse to beat if he is on song. He was backed off the boards on his seasonal debut at Chepstow last time out, travelled very sweetly, traded as low as 1.33 in-running but only managed 4th to Shammick Boy for a finish. He should be sharper tomorrow with that run under his belt in and the Pipe yard are in good heart at the moment. This gelding won his first 5 races in a row so clearly has a lot of ability. Broadway Buffalo WIN @ 11/4 Betfred

Re: National Hunt Racing > Tuesday October 12th Sedgefield 3.20 - Silver Roque 11/2 Various Quite an interesting little race this with what I consider to be 4 main protagonists. Silver Roque still has some progression IMO and whilst he hasnt always convinced me with his stamina in his younger days, he has shaped like this trip may now suit him, especially on sharp track like this one. He has some really solid form at top courses such as Newbury and Cheltenham (the latter losing to the progressive Shooters Wood and french raider Weetak as well as having Kid Cassidy and Astracad in behind!), he has run in much better races than this and he has an excellent record fresh. Riskier is the current favourite and doesnt look to have achieved a whole lot in racking up a 3 timer this summer. Its always hard to tell how good they are when they keep on winning but at the prices and up against a better class of opposition I am willing to take him on. Tahiti Pearl is another not without a chance, especially considering his form fresh but again I question the real value of his form in the context of this race. He is a horse that likes his own way in front and both Riskier and Stagecoach Pearl also prefer to do the same thing. Finally Granville Island is probably the main danger especially if his run behind Conquisto back in March is to be taken literally! He has run well since against modest opposition and he didnt look like a horse about to strike when finishing 4th LTO. He could be a danger if he comes on for that run though and albeit the 2nd and 3rd have flopped since.
