Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Nov 9 Weymouth at home to Hungerford Town (11/8 BetVictor) Two mid-table sides in similar form meet but I think that Weymouth have had much harder fixtures recently. They competed well in tough cup matches with Braintree and Chesham and I think they look decently equipped for a strong next-phase to the campaigm. Hungerford are a very decent outfit, but they struggled to overcome Folkestone in two Trophy games and although they are on a run of three successive away wins in the league recent performances have been off their highs. AFC Fylde away at Matlock Town (11/8 BetVictor) Midweek defeat for Fylde hints that they still have some work in ironing our their inconsistency but last weekend they did well to win their Trophy match at Rushall with a number of first-teamers out. They'll still be a little light on Saturday but I think they are a good price to overcome a Matlock that has been doing well but is usually second best when they come against the top sides.

I might keep Redditch onside as they look a bit big at Banbury,i think Redditch have won 7 out of 8 in all competitions. another one for me is skelmersdale away at frickley at just below evens

Very true, BG: these look like last-week-of-the-season prices. I think it reflects the haves and have-nots at Step 3 these days, which is more pronounced this season than at any time since I've been betting down here. At least there are some more exotic bets these days - BetVics were offering 23/20 on the Hemel game on a 'BTTS - no' market. On the plus side there will be occasions when the big-priced opponent is seriously good value - Truro are turning their season round and Totton have been playing better. Redditch look decent; Banbury are a bit of a puzzle but they have re-signed Albi Skendi, though I don't know if he plays on Sat. Personally not sure about Skem at a thin price - if Frickley get bodies back this weekend and play like they did against Ilkeston they have a fair chance of getting something.

Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Nov 9 Frome Town away at Arlesey Town (15/4 Marathon) A bit of a punt, but the price seems quite big given that the Abbey brothers have left the dugout at Arlesey for St Neots Town. There's something a little odd about this, given that St Neots have been trimming the squad and budget for many months now and so didn't appear a particularly attractive proposition for ambitious managers. Arlesey, meanwhile, have not shown any signs of shedding bodies, so it does seem odd that the Abbeys have moved, with Iain Parr moving from the St Neots manager's slot and joining the board. The developments certainly put a question mark against Arlesey. Though they are not in terrible form, they are better away than at home - they beat Chesham in August at home but have only won one other home match. Frome are also better away from home - in fact, since losing their opening away match at Weymouth they are unbeaten on the road. They are struggling for bodies at the moment - they've been operating with one fit striker - but given their record and the question mark against Arlesey, the price is a sporting one.
