Re: Cheltenham Thursday Daily Telegraph (Previously Cathcart) - 15 of the last 16 winners were in the first 3 on their previous run. ¡V the exception was a previous winner of the race. - 9 of the last 11 had a break of 5 weeks or more. - First season Novices have taken 8 of the last 11 outings. - 2 French bred 5 year olds have a 100% record, both were trained by Pipe. - 5 year olds have a good record. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Taking the first two trends, we are left with one horse THISTHATNTOTHER so that has to be the bet for trends followers. Arguments can me made for Our Vic, who fell last time whilst in the lead over this course and distance. He has an obvious chance but i believe he was beaten into 3rd when well fancied at the festival last year, which is enough to put me off, especially at the forecast 7/4. Rathgar Beau is a big danger. Only off the list because he last ran 33 days ago, he is well regarded and was seriously considered being entered in the Queen Mother Chase today. Has been excellent this season and is a massive threat. THISTHATNTOTHER is the selection :ok
