Jump Racing Tuesday 10th Sep 2013

Not a fan of jockey T.Scudamore but when trainer D.Pipe sends out just the one runner it can pay in taking notice, he sends out a 7yr old that's only ran once this year so far and made a bad mistake last time out and blew his chances of any wages or glory, 10 runs with no wins but must be showing something at home as the shrewd Pipe camp never stick diesel in the tank if they had no chance. If the big gelding has been schooled ''and he will be'' in his jumping skills connections must be expecting to take home something ''at very least 2nd/3rd'' Looks a race for the taking but nothing in racing is that simple, even more so with The Champ and his guvnor Jonjo in the same line up, they must post a threat! 4:10 Worcester - Vapiano. Danger - Last Shadow.

Re: Jump Racing Tuesday 10th Sep 2013 6.25 Galway Rebel Fitz 1/2 Paddy Power BOG When it comes to betting on horses confidence counts for a lot and with 2/7 for the last 7 days we need a winner to get back on track. There were a few to choose from today but Rebel Fitz is the most solid. 2/3 over fences including a facile win over course and distance lto, he won the Galway hurdle last year and loves the track. The overnight rain will need hinder his chances but will hinder those of Saint Gervaise. Shadow Eile also loves Galway having won twice at the festival last year and scored a bloodless victory against poor opposition lto at Killarney where she jumped well. She remains a mare of uncapped potential over fences and today should tell us a lot about her aptitude. In this race however it should be prudent to stick with experience and ability and that means Rebel Fitz. 10 Points win Rebel Fitz 1/2 Paddy Power BOG 5.25 Galway Que Pasa 11/4 Boylesports BOG Que Pasa has been in fine form this summer winning here over 2m to see off Shamar and Diplomat and battling on well up the hill. Lto Que Pasa finished a close up 3rd on the flat at Bellewstown. Mullins runs Indevan who has shown promise over hurdles but is not yet battle hardened. This is traditionally a bad meeting for Mullins as in past years many have needed the run. Rain might not help either. 10 Points win Que Pasa 11/4 Boylesports BOG 5.55 Galway Georgie 16/1 Ladbrokes BOG Horses for courses is the order of the day at Galway and Georgie, a course and distance winner last year at the festival fits the bill. He has run well this year without winning and lto finished 4th to Muzak at Ballinrobe. He gets in here off 10 stone including the rider's claim and if given a soft lead will be hard to peg back. This opposition is moderate. 5 Points e/w Georgie 16/1 Ladbrokes BOG 6.55 Galway Ballygill Gale 14/1 BetFred 14/1 BOG Ballygill Gale has run poorly all summer and ran his best race to date when plugging on for 4th over 3m1f at Kilbeggan a week ago. He won this last year and carries 4lbs less including the rider's claim this year. Although his form figures are not inspiring it was a similar story last year when his form was even worse coming into the race. His trainer does very well here with his small sting and with luck in running should be thereabouts. 5 points e/w Ballygill Gale 14/ BetFred BOG
