17:30 Sedgefield 2m 4f Class 5 Injured Jockeys Fund Handicap Hurdle Selection: Executive’s Hall Each Way – 11/1 Betbright Executive’s Hall is a consistent sort having finished in the first three home on 4 of his 6 starts so far this year. He’s now on a reasonably high mark but has the benefit on Tony McCoy on board for only the 2nd time and a drop back to the 2m 4f distance following recent efforts over further should suit. Last time out in a Class 5 Handicap Hurdle at Cartmel over 2m 6f, Executive’s Hall was beaten a long distance finishing 8th of 12, and 48 3/4 lengths behind the winner, Pete. Executive’s Hall had been prominent for much of the race though and only faded in the later stages of the race, suggesting that a drop back in distance would be appreciated by the horse. His latest win came back in July over the same course in distance as his latest effort, although he was 8lb better off at the weights then. He won the race comfortably, beating Nez Rouge by 9 lengths. Nez Rouge was previously placed in the Listed Bet365 Handicap Chase over 2m 4f at Wetherby in November last year. If Executive’s Hall can put his latest attempt behind him then he comes into the race with every chance, especially with the eye-catching jockey booking of Tony McCoy. Conditions are set to suit as three of the horses previous wins have come on ground Good to Firm, Good in Places.

Re: Jump Racing - Thursday 5th September 2013 6.25 Clonmel Grove Field 4/5 Stan James BOG A moderate maiden hurdle and hard to overlook the claims of Grove Field who showed improved form to finish a good second to Another Ambition at Cork over 19f. An extra furlong today but a repeat of his last run should be good enough here. 10 points win Grove Field 4/5 Stan James BOG 7.25 Clonmel Strategic Bid 3/1 BetVictor BOG Another poor maiden hurdle in which Strategic Bid boasts the best form. 3rd to The Black Russian at Sligo in which the winner was given a soft lead which he maintained, he followed up again at Kilbeggan lto. Strategic Bid ran well that day and in a weaker race can break his duck. Tisamystery was second at Bellewstown in July but that form is weaker. 10 Points win Strategic Bid 3/1 Bet Victor BOG
