6.15 Roscommon Wandering Star 11/8 Boylesports BOG Although only a bumper winner Wandering Star won easily at Wexford on fast ground at Wexford in May and she could almost take this race by default as Murphys Delight, a promising 3rd to Manalapan at the Curragh over 10f disappointed badly on his last run in an ordinary maiden at Leopardstown again over 10f. Weld won the race and should know where he stands. On breeding Ebaniya would win this easily but she cut no ice last week in her only run at Ballinrobe and the poor form of the stable continues. Re: Flat Racing Monday 2nd September The prize money at Hamilton today is poor and the value race for take home pay is the second last, kick off 16:40 You would think someone like Mark Johnston would have a runner in this as he has a few runners on the card and can do well at this track, but he has nothing in this, shame that. A few of the runners have been running well in their own right and the one i like without going crazy is the K.Dalgleish trained 5yr old, i was a supporter of him last tme out at Ayr where he was a very game winner from pillar to post, this is a step up but its still within his grasp and the price does look worth a go. He's raced at Hamilton twice in the past but has yet to win, could be third time lucky if the field allow him a lead, they might find it hard pegging him back on ground that will suit him and he's on a handy looking weight too, 35 runs with 6 wins, two of them wins have come under jockey T.Eaves, he gets the leg up again today. Trip & Going are both positives, but the jury is out regarding the track and is a concern. 16:40 - Circuitous. E/w Bet.
