Flat Racing Sunday 11th August

4.15 Curragh Sea Siren 6/4 Paddy Power BOG Sea Siren won a group 3 easily last month at Fairyhouse last month and Russian Soul franked that form by winning at Tipperary on Friday. A group 1 winner several times in Australia, he should prove far too good for the Group 1 placed Slade Power and Hamza. 10 Points win Sea Siren 6/4 Paddy Power BOG 3.45 Curragh War Command 2/5 Paddy Power BOG Although Coventry Stakes winners dont have as good a record as you might expext in this race War Command won so well that day that he cannot be opposed. Ambiance, Sudirman and Wiltshire Boulevard can battle it out for second with maybe the latter who is improving claiming that spot. 10 points win War Command 2/5 Paddy Power BOG 3.15 Curragh Tapestry 5/6 Bet365 BOG Tapestry was ridden like a good filly when beating Chroussa here over 6f at the last meeting. Held up off the pace she quickened inside the last furlong to win easily. The extra furlong will suit. The 2 other O' Brien fillies also look useful but O' Brien is the first jockey and is on the right one. 10 Points win Tapestry 5/6 Bet365 BOG 2.45 Curragh Maputo 15/8 BetVictor BOG With Caponata best with plenty of give in the ground this is a 2 horse race. Scintillula is tough having been 4th in the Oaks, won at Leopardstown outstaying Mars in a Group3 before finishing 3rd over 12f at Leopardstown on Thursday behind Ernest Hemmingway. She is tough and will be hard to beat. However Maputo is very progressive and who comes from a stable in form can see off the filly although he must improve again to win this Group 3 having been successful only in Listed class until now. 10 Points win Maputo 15/8 BetVictor BOG 4.45 Curragh Stones Peak 20/1 Paddy Power Stones Peak is a summer horse who needs some juice in the ground. Racing on similar ground to last year when he won this race and carrying 1lb less thanks to Brennan's claim she can repeat her success of last year from stall 2 in a very open race. 5 points e/w Stones Peak 20/1 Paddy Power BOG

Re: Flat Racing Sunday 11th August 2:45 Deauville: Olympic Glory 1pt win 33/1 Betfair (£13 available) Olympic Glory looks well overpriced here. He has only suffered defeat twice. Once at the hands of Dawn Approach but there was less than a length between them over six furlongs. And then when never really going at Longchamp. That last run apart Olympic Glory has looked top class and its interesting that connections travel over for this competitive Group One when there are surely easier options. Looks certain to outrun his price and this Grand Criterium winner could bounce back here.
