230 Goodwood: Bet365 Molecomb Stakes (Group 3) (5f) Quite a competitive affair for this years renewal of the Molecomb Stakes, there is not much between Supplicant, Anticipated and Ambiance on some form and the filly Reroute doesn’t have to improve much on her Queen Mary effort at Ascot. To be honest I don’t think we need to look beyond this group and my hunch is that Supplicant with Ryan Moore booked is the one to be on this time. He has had a complete break since the Windsor Castle whereas both Ambiance and Anticipated have been over to France and that just may sway it in the Fahey runner’s favour. 3.05 Goodwood: Bet365 Lennox Stakes (Group 2) 7f Fascinating contest for the big race on day one of the Goodwood meeting and I reckon this lies between Aljamaaheer and Producer which is not very original but I cant see the others beating both of the major players. This race has often gone to a out and out 7f specialist and for that reason I’m opposing the favourite with the Hannon horse. The trainer also knows what it takes to win this race and Producer has a victory over Aljamaaheer in the book and looks the value bet of the pair. Selection: 2pts Producer 5/1
