2.30 Royal Ascot: Albany Stakes (Group 3) (6f) Tricky opener for punters and difficult to be too confident about any of the fancied runners, Sandiva stands out because she won a Listed race last time but it’s still hard to weigh up what she actually achieved that day. Joyeuse was impressive at Lingfield but that was on very different ground to what she faces here. I like the Qatar Racing filly Kiyoshi at the prices, she looked very professional at Goodwood and I like youngsters who have ran well on that quirky track as it gives them an education.
