2.00 Southwell An interesting handicap, keen to take Tobrata on despite his good record at this track but has only won once and that was last time out when last seen in November, 5lb rise might be enough and also not sure this trip ideal along with record fresh not great. Dancing Paddy can be given a chance on his CD 3^rd on penultimate start and also his reappearance effort last time out around here looking in need of further again, up a 1lb for that and not seen for another 50 days a concern but if continue his slow upward curve can be given a chance back up in trip and in the handicap today, yard quiet for a little while now. Gonna chance Medieval Bishop who isn’t perhaps fully exposed yet and certainly not on this surface, one try to date on the surface over slightly shorter trip behind the course specialist Smart Affair only beaten 1.5 lengths off same mark as today. Has run too good races since making comeback especially last time out at Wolves over this trip when worn down late off a 1lb lower mark today. Re: Flat Racing 5th June (Wednesday) 4.00 Southwell Street Artist 10/11 Ladbrokes A 2 horse race in my book between Fantasy In Blue and Street Artist. Fantasy In Blue an expensive purchase by Chevley Park trained by Stoute and ridden today by Turner has disappointed and was beaten 7 lengths lto at Wolverhampton. Tried in a visor today. Street Artist on the other hand has run 2 good races and lto at Thirsk was beaten 4.5 lengths by Botti's Renew over 12 furlongs running on at the finish in what looked a stonger maiden. This form is a long way ahead of the others in my opinion and Southwell has always been a hppy hunting ground for Johnston. Jockey bookings suggest to me that Stoute's filly is there in hope. Therefore I recommend 8/10 points on Street Artist and expect him to improve again and win easily and keep up the excellent strike rate of Johnston at Southwell. 8 points win Street Artist 10/11 Ladbrokes.
