Re: A League > 28 - 31 March Brisbane v Sydney FC over 3.5 @ 2.70 centrebet Brisbane v Sydney FC over 4.5 @ 4.65 centrebet Brisbane have scored at least two goals in 4 of their last 6 home games but have also conceded in 4 of these 6 home games. Sydney have allowed at least two goals in 9 of their last 11 away games while scoring in 10 of these 11 games, and 5 of them seeing them score twice. Brisbane are 5th and Sydney are 6th with both looking for the win to ensure they get into the top 6. Neither have a dependable defence and both rely on their attack. Each side has the quality to see a few goals scored here 49-68 (+3.00)

Re: A League > 28 - 31 March My knowledge of aus football is limited but i have been following the climax to the season. The scenario is this. Sydney wanderers need a win or draw to win the league but have a massive injury crisis. Star player Jap lad Shinji Ono is out. The captain is probably out, best defender is suspended and around 3 other first teamers are doubtful. If Sydney dont avoid defeat then Central Coast Mariners can win the league by beating Melbourne Heart who are atrocious away from home. If Sydney do win the league the central coast mariners manager has said he will field the kids against Melbourne Heart and rest the first team because they have Asian champions league game on tuesday. Throw in a bit of Aussie hooliganism and a can or 2 of 6x and it all gets quite exciting. The smart thing to do probably would be to back melbourne heart in some form early in the morning before the price drops if Sydney Wanderers get the job done the day before. Easy to say but probably I will prefer to stay in bed.

Re: A League > 28 - 31 March This is a preview from local newsteller. [h=3]Newcastle Jets vs Western Sydney Wanderers[/h][h=3]Western Sydney to end Newcastle’s season[/h] TEAM NEWS: Newcastle’s Emile Heskey and Sam Gallaway remain under an injury cloud heading into this match, having missed recent rounds. While Western Sydney welcomes back Youssouf Hersi from suspension, Iacopo La Rocca is banned following a red card last round. Shinji Ono is set to miss with a groin injury, while Adam D’Apuzzo will be monitored following a knock suffered last round. Aaron Mooy, Michael Beauchamp and Jerome Polenz could return having missed last round. Newcastle Jets: Suspended: None. Doubtful: Emile Heskey (calf), Sam Gallaway (knee). Injured/unavailable: None. Western Sydney Wanderers: Suspended: Iacopo La Rocca (four matches). Doubtful: Jerome Polenz (quad), Aaron Mooy (knee), Michael Beauchamp (quad), Adam D'Apuzzo (foot). Injured/unavailable: Shinji Ono (groin), Tahj Minniecon (foot). MATCH PREVIEW: Newcastle faces an uphill battle to make the finals series, though there remains a slim chance it can squeeze into the six. The club must defeat Western Sydney in this match and hope Sydney and Brisbane draw or Perth don’t win. If this match ends in a draw, Newcastle could only sneak into the finals if Perth lose and Sydney lose by five or more goals. It all depends, however, on beating Western Sydney, and that is a big ask for a club that has won just three of 13 matches in 2013, missed last round due to rescheduling and has shown little form in recent rounds with Heskey under an injury concern. Their 1-1 draw at Adelaide United last game means they have a run of three matches without a league victory. Western Sydney remains undefeated in 11 matches following a 1-1 draw in the Sydney derby last round, having notched up the record for most points (54) in the home and away season. It needs a win or a draw in Newcastle to secure the Premier's Plate in its debut season, which will be a first in any Australian sporting league. Despite missing the likes of Ono, Western Sydney has enough coverage with a player such as Mooy, for example, a straight cover for Ono, and the club can contain an opposition struggling for goals. Western Sydney should prove too strong in its bid to claim top spot. Look for Western Sydney to claim the premiership with a comfortable away win. HEAD TO HEAD: Western Sydney defeated Newcastle 2-1 at home in Round 20, making up for a 2-1 home defeat in Round 6. This will be Western Sydney’s first match at Newcastle’s Hunter Stadium.

Re: A League > 28 - 31 March

Brisbane v Sydney FC over 3.5 @ 2.70 :ok Brisbane v Sydney FC over 4.5 @ 4.65 :(
Newcastle v Western Sydney over 2.5 @ 2.04 pinnacle Both teams with plenty to play for coming into this last round. Newcastle need a win to secure a top 6 spot while Western Sydney need at least a draw to take top spot. Newcastle get heskey backl and he should cause problems for this WS defence, who are without Beauchamp, while La Rocca who would normally cover for him is suspended. WS have won their last 6 games on the road and are favoured to win again, but it looks like their may be goals in this as neither defence has been keeping clean sheets on a consistent basis, and with plenty to play for, then like this to be an open game with goals in it 50-69 (+3.70)
