Re: Championship > 26th Feb - 2nd March Bolton seems to be in good form now, while Peterborough played bad last match. Coach is saying that he will ring changes for this match, but it seems to me they are not so confident going in to this match. This is championship so you should throw form out of the window, however i am yet again attracted by this wonderful league so i have played this match in double with another from league One (sheff Utd). Stake low for the above reason (2/10)

Glad to see Cardiff are away this week. News just breaking that our delightful owner has started to show his true colours and is looking to change our name to Cardiff Dragons. After the furore of the colour change (and his continual uncaring attitude towards fans opinions), he has further ignited flames here. However, where there has been some acceptance over the shirts (and less so over the badge change), this will certainly unite fans against him. He may be bringing success and investment but this may just swing the tide right against him. I quite fancy our chances at Middlesbrough and was gonna look into the bet but i'd advise this story is watched as it's got potential to blow our season apart...

Re: Championship > 26th Feb - 2nd March Wolves v Watford - Away win @ 11/8 StanJames or BetVictor Cannot ignore the price of the away win here, Watford high in confidence and on form winning 4 out of the last 5 games. Dean Saunders still without a win as Wolves boss and don't look that impressive since he has taken over, if anything they have looked a tad more solid than under the previous boss. Watford have been scoring goals for fun this season and have had 10 wins away from home this season with 9 wins at home. The price of the away win here is just too good to turn down in my opinion.

Re: Championship > 26th Feb - 2nd March 4pts Watford to beat Wolves 13/10 Boylesports Occasionally you get matches where teams with no form whatsoever turn over a side who are on top form but I don’t think that will be the case here. Wolves fans are planning a protest against their owners going into this match and they never help anyone least of all the players and with the quality Watford have with all their borrowed players they look the most likely winners of this one to me. Re: Championship > 26th Feb - 2nd March Leeds - Millwall homewin 2.17 (Pinnacle) Leeds looks good as far as their performances and home results are concerned. At home they managed to win 7 from 8 after the shameful defeat vs. Watford (1:6). They only lost to Cardiff by the odd goal. In their last six at home they only conceded two goals, which is quite an achievement if you take a closer look at previous season or the beginning of this season. Away they were a little unlucky recently to drop points (could have won vs. Blackburn and Wolves). Millwall won vs. Boro but this fact shouldn´t be overrated. Generally Millwall has been shaky throughout the last weeks so I´m pretty confident that Leeds who have no injury concerns will win this. Leeds won 3/4 at home vs. Millwall since 2009.

Re: Championship > 26th Feb - 2nd March Watford are hard to ignore against a wolves side that hasnt won in 10 matches losing their last 2 in a row, Saunders has had little or no impact since taking over and with their owner under pressure from their fans the odds of them stopping the rot tonight is very slim Watford are full of confidence and will aim to make it 4 wins on the trot and with a decent price of 2.15 for them to win they are well worth a punt

Re: Championship > 26th Feb - 2nd March 4pts Sheffield Wednesday vs Notts Forest - Both teams to score 17/20 Ladbrokes Both sides go into this match full of confidence and desperate for the points for different reasons. Both sides have good scoring options and have been scoring goals in recent matches so the 17/20 about both teams scoring in this match looks quite appealing. There is almost an average of three goals a game at Hillsborough in the league this season while Forest away games average just under three per game too so there should be goals in this one. Strange to see odds opened by bookmaker for Cardiff, especially when Middlesbrough is out of form, probably bookmaker knows something that we don't..

I don't think yesterday's fiasco will have too much influence on the game and it's petering out a bit following vincent tan publicly stating there'll be no name change (watch this space...). Mark Hudson misses out which will either mean Connolly dropping in to cover and mcnaughton playing at RB or ben nugent making a straight swop. I'd see our odds being quite tasty tomorrow, can't see malky underestimating them and we've got enough talent to bring back all 3 points, moreso given their 2013 form. We seem to have a good mentality and watfords last minute conceded goal will drive the team on to seal promotion sooner IMO.

In my view yesterday´s result makes it a little harder to win. It´s a strange phenomenon that if one contender doesn´t win, the other one is likely to fail as well (maybe there´s less pressure or something like that). Anyway I agree that Cardiff looks strong and I already took them two days ago with AH0 1.8 (Pinnacle). Can´t see them losing at Boro who are on a bad run.

Re: Championship > 26th Feb - 2nd March Blackpool vs Bristol City Paul Ince's side host 23rd Bristol City here and I think that goals are not guarenteed as many will think they are. Gone are the free-scoring days of Blackpool under Holloway as they have now developed a little more of a stricter approach firstly under Michael Appleton and now Paul Ince. They drew 0-0 at home to Leicester last time out with their last 3 games going under 2.5 goals. As for Bristol City they have lost their last 6 on their travels and have only scored a skinny 16 goals on the road this season which is the 2nd worst. Under 2.5 Goals - Evens William Hill

As a Bristol City fan I feel I should add a little more to this. We have only scored three in our last six away games and two of those have been own goals scored in the last minute of the game. Away from home under O'Driscoll we just don't look like creating anything never mind scoring, we are however slightly harder to break down at the moment so I can't see us taking a battering.

Re: Championship > 26th Feb - 2nd March Hello everyone, Could you please help me out with this problem: Isn't your stake suposed to be refunded in the following scenario? I bet on Derby +1 in Derby-C.Palace. The match finished 0-1. Isn't my stake supposed to be refunded? If not, what is the difference between a +0,25 and a +1 handicap? This is not the right thread to post this in, but I didn't find a better one, sorry. Please feel free to delete it or move it. Thank you!

Yes, if the bet was + 1 Asian handicap the bet should be void. However if the bet was a standard + 1 match handicap the bet would have lost. + 0.25 means half the stake is on + 0.5, and the other half would be on the equivalent draw no bet.
