3.00 Doncaster: 32Red Hurdle (Listed) (2m110y) Looking forward to seeing Darlan again and hopefully we will see his turn of foot take this race apart from the second last. Better ground should see him able to use his gears and will be very surprised if Countrywide Flame or Rock And Ruby can get within 5 lengths of him. It wouldn’t surprise me to see the Quinn horse grab the forecast spot on a track that will suit his style. Rock On Ruby will be better suited to Cheltenham but this race provides a perfect stepping stone for his preparations on his way to the Festival in March. Selections; 5pts Darlan 8/11

Re: Jump Racing ~ Monday Feb 4th not convinced about Darlan. he obviously has speed but hes only ever won races when the pace has been very slow and the one time the pace was quicker he was a fair bit more off the b ridle in the supreme novices hurdle. for that reason im undecided tomorrow. can rock on ruby and countrywide flame break his stamina? im unsure for now but im confident whatever happens he wont win the champion hurdle and should he be more like 5th or 6th i wont be remotely surprised
