Each way betting?

May have been asked a million times but can't find anything in the search. Do you think each-way betting is profitable long term?

Re: Each way betting? Its a bit like saying is betting on Horse Racing profitable? Any type of betting is profitable if you have the right selection method and correct staking plan. Personally i like EW betting myself but i know a good few people who would rather back two horses in the same race to win than one each way, same stake theory, two chances etc... Not keen on place only betting, doesn't seem much value in that market in my opinion. I used to know some pro's who backed 3/1 shots EW on a regular basis, i'm not dead against the idea but look for better value myself.
