Re: League 2 > Boxing Day Copied this over from the other day:

There isn't a thread available for the boxing day games yet so I'll post some info in here and copy it over later. Accrington come to Valley Parade on boxing day. They had their first choice keeper sent off today so he misses this game. Their other keeper is apparently injured so they only have a kid to go in goals or something. I need to check this out further but keep a close eye on team news, specifically regarding the Accy keeper. :ok
Taken from the BBC site:
Accrington are facing a goalkeeper crisis for their trip to Valley Parade with Ian Dunbavin ruled out for the season and Paul Rachubka suspended. Boss Leam Richardson may therefore call on 18-year-old keeper Andrew Dawber.

Re: League 2 > Boxing Day Bradford to beat Accrington (best price 13-18, Pinnacle), generally 8-13 most bookmakers. Bradford -1 to beat Accrington (Skybet 7-4) I went to Accrington away earlier in the season and for the first 45 mins we battered them and should have been a few goals up. They were very poor and it looked like a certain win. 2nd half we came out half asleep, lacking urgency and our players had left their motivation in the changing rooms. Accy took the lead and we got a goal back late on but they should never have been allowed to get into the game. Phil Parkinson has managed to sort out the motivation, has got some good players in on loan too and we should have too much for them today. Home form has been good on the whole but a loss at home to Exeter was a concern. Nahki Wells and Nathan Doyle are doubts for us today but Accy have a kid in goals unless they managed an emergency loan, although this kid played in a cup game and is supposed to be quite good. Our defence has been fairly solid all year, as anyone that watched the Arsenal game would have seen and that is without our two first choice centre backs. We have been fairly consistent this year and need to pick up points over this Christmas/New Year period to stay within touch of the leaders. Accy at home, Rochdale at home on Saturday and Morecambe away on New Years Day and we'd be looking at a comfortable win today out of that batch of 3 games. James Beattie has a chance to put himself in the shop window here, Bradford looking to add players in January and many feeling another striker is a must to push on for promotion. If Kyel Reid or Zavon Hines return this could affect the amount of crosses into the box and would impact on the chances James Hanson gets up front, he is 11-2 for the first goal. Gary Jones takes our set pieces and takes a good free kick so if this young Accy keeper isn't too cracking the 12-1 on Gary Jones for first goal could be some value. Bradford home form - W7 D2 L2 GF18 GA6 Accy away form - W4 D3 L4 GF15 GA17

Re: League 2 > Boxing Day Accrington decided to appeal the red card and with it being xmas the appeal can't be heard yet so he was allowed to play instead of the 18 year old kid. It was all Bradford first half but Accy had a brief fightback, went down to 10 men and then scored. We should have been home and dry and won more convincingly but we scored a cracking equaliser to win the game 2-1. Accy were quite poor and James Beattie looked way past it, even at this low level.
