Re: England > Boxing Day > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Dec 26 A couple of fancies for Wednesday... East Thurrock United at home to Thurrock (10/11 Coral) Despite the fact that ETU haven't won at home in ages (since September), I think there is value here. They have a better squad than Thurrock and they have been performing well overall, particularly on their travels - unbreaten since August on the road. In truth, home performances have been okay - ETU were on top in the 0-0 against Margate, they played their part in losing to Lowestoft, and Whitehawk needed a late pen to equalise. So how to explain the bad home form? Generally, they've been facing some good sides, and also the pitch has been poor, making games less of a spectacle than they might be, but I'm actually using this is something in ETU's favour: Thurrock's young side tired visibly at home to Hendon recently and ETU have the weapons to exploit an energy-sapping pitch against an inexperienced squad. Weymouth at home to Bashley (10/11 Paddy Power) BetVics were a touch higher than this, but there's still value, I think. Bashley tend to to better away but it's coming together nicely for Weymouth at the moment, with Mark Ford and Ben Joyce forming an effective strike partnership. Weymouth's home form has been questionable, but they've been pretty lively and I think they'll have too much for a Bashley side on a run of three straight defeats. FC United of Manchester at home to Witton Albion (6/5 widespread) Witton's excellent away form will face a good grilling, especially as they are missing key bodies suspended - they won't have as much width as usual, and they won't be able to defend in midfield with their usual efficiency. Alex Meacham has come in, but I can't see him making a difference short-term. FCUM have been hit and miss at home and they are missing Mike Norton, but given that Witton won't be at full strength I'll risk the home side at this price. I took 5/4 earlier, but 6/5 is fine. A few riskier plays appeal, too... Chesham United at home to Chippenham - 6/4 Corals is best now. Chesham have been dreadful mostly this season, but there are signs of improvement and the signing Inih Effiong should help their presence up front. Bobby Bartley and John Kyriacou have also returned this week and it looks to me like Chesham are going to be a different proposition after Christmas. Stafford Rangers at home to Hednesford United - 11/5 10Bet. When I took Stafford a few weeks back at Eastwood, they played well but couldn't finish. Since that 2-2 draw they've more attacking options, they've notched 14 in four and are putting together an excellent portfolio of results. Hednesford are a tough nut clearly, but can be a bit one-dimensional - Stafford have been pretty flexible under Greg Clowes and there is value at this price. The two sides should be much closer in the betting. Hendon away at Wingate & Finchley - 6/4 Sportinget/BetVics. Hendon have been playing better than their terribel results and I'm hoping a corner has been turned at Thurrock, where they had a bit of luck with the late penalty to win, but deserved the points. W&F have, on paper, a stronger squad than they did a couple of months ago, but since Gary Meakin came in they've only managed a single point at home to Leiston.

Re: England > Boxing Day > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Dec 26

AS hard as I try I cant find odds for Eastwood v Ilkeston game in the Northern league' date=' anyone found any?[/quote'] Eastwood have not been quoted for a couple of months now - bookies are much warier these days swerve 'crisis' clubs completely. Kendal Town fall into this category as well.
