Thailand - 0.5 @ 1.9 - bet365. Surprised to see Thailand at decent odds here. Although Thailand are slightly lower in the FIFA rankings, Vietnam haven't had the best starts to this tournament and haven't had the greatest of results thus far in general. They drew with Myanmar and lost late on against Philippines. Vietnam have had a couple of small wins over Malaysia, peppered in between tight draws versus what appear to be far weaker opponents - Vietnamese club side, khatoco Khanh and a University side. Thailand on the other hand have been pretty free scoring of late. They hammered Myanmar 4-0, and beat Philippines 2-1 already in this tournament. Pre tournament they beat Bangladesh and Bhutan 5-0 apiece, Malaysia 2-0, Laos 2-1, and hammered a Thai Football League All Stars 5-1. This years Suzuki cup is being held in Thailand as well, so this will pretty much be a home tie for them.

Philippines V Myanmar Under 2.5 goals @ 1.66 - bet365. Looks like this should be fairly tight. Both teams ranked around the same place. Myanmar don't concede or score many. Eight out of their last nine away fixtures have gone under 2.5 goals. They had to qualify to get here and they only scored six goals in four games, and conceded once, against far weaker opponents. I'm going to treat Philippines as though they're playing away because the tournament is being hosted in Thailand, and five out of their last nine fixtures away from home have gone under. With the other four fixtures only ending 2-1. Philippines sit second on three points, while Myanmar only have one point following the draw with Vietnam.
