3.50 Ascot: Canaccord Genuity Handicap Hurdle (Class 2) (2m) A decent renewal of this race and plenty of angles to look at, favourite Petit Robin needs to show he still retains his ability and has to be respected of a favourable mark, he looks a bit tight in the betting for me. Bourne is dropped back to two miles, which needs to work as he’s been struggling off his current rating while Ifyouletmefinish looks a bit high in the weights. My two against the field are Chesil Beach Boy who will be spot on after a recent run and The Pier for the Pipe yard who should improve this season on what he has shown so far since coming over from Ireland.
