Re: Group D > 8 October (Bordeaux, Club Bruges, Maritimo, Newcastle) 4pts Newcastle to beat Club Bruges (DNB) 11/10 Stan James Newcastle come into this match in the better form of the two sides and I see no reason, and saw no reason in the reverse fixture, why they can’t complete the double over the Belgian side. Newcastle never got out of first gear two weeks ago and still ran out winners and they haven’t rested everyone here, if anything their side might even be stronger. It is an away game though and a point will probably be the first target so I’ll take them in the draw no bet market against the out of form Belgians than the win market. Re: Group D > 8 October (Bordeaux, Club Bruges, Maritimo, Newcastle) Club Brugge - Newcastle under 2.5 @ 2.02 pinnacle Club Brugge will be looking to get some respectability here given the problems within their club as they have sacked their coach, and now prepare for the arrival of Newcastle. Brugge lost 4-0 at Bordeaux, won 2-0 at Maritimo and lost 1-0 at Newcastle, so they have had problems finding the net in two of these games, while they have not scored in their losses. Newcastle lead the group by 3 points and will be happy to leave with a point as they lead Bordeaux by three points in the group. Even though they are without Ba, ben Arfa and Gutierrez for this game, they will have Colonccini and Tiote, given both are suspended for the West Ham game on the weekend. These two more defensive players should be able to limit the possibility of conceding while they are without Ba, and Cisse is likely to start from the bench, so their attack is limited for this game. Like the look of a low scoring game here

Re: Group D > 8 October (Bordeaux, Club Bruges, Maritimo, Newcastle) Club Bruges v Newcastle I am gonna go for Newcastle to beat Club Brugge away from home. Newcastle are top of their group and have not conceded a goal as of yet. They are taking a relatively strong side with Tiote and Collocini expected to start as thy are suspended for the weekend. Club Brugge have not won their last 3 home games and are mid table in their domestic league after 14 games, not doing as nearly as well as expected. This is not a banker by any means but I think it certainly represents value at 19/10
