How to know when a hurdler will make a good chaser. Advice please

Re: How to know when a hurdler will make a good chaser. Advice please i belive you can train a hurdler into a chaser but some horses are just built for the job. Big Bucks was thought to have made a great chaser, big and bulky but just didnt like jumping those big ones!! Hurdling is about speed though and its interesting when you hear the likes of Overturn will go chasing. I cant see Binocular going that route though. Breeding again comes into it, French bred and Irish bred horses make the best chasers in my book Most decent chasers can run over hurdles In France they jump fences earlier than in the UK which is why UK trainers often pick up 5yo's with chasing experience.
