4.15 Beverley: Betfred Beverley Bullet Sprint Stakes (Listed) (Class 1) (5f) All in all a terrific renewal of this sprint and favourite Masamah is the one to beat if he get out on terms and not fluff his lines from the stalls. He is well drawn and has a lot going for him on these terms compared to some of his races this season. Of the others I like Free Zone who is on the upgrade, likes the track and apart from his no show in Ireland last time is very consistent and despite his draw should be involved in this company. Re: Flat Racing ~ Saturday Sept 1st 3.05 Chester: Chester Standard Handicap (Class 2) (7f 122yds) Its one of those races where you could pick half a dozen and still not find the winner, the betting will revolve around the two horses on the upgrade that could be well handicapped, Verse Of Love and Strictly Silver, both 3yo’s with good current form and with very shrewd trainers. Neither will be much value and I’d sooner look elsewhere this time, I like Brae Hill who has had a nice break and looks the leading contender of the Fahey quartet, he has course form and is well drawn. Ruth Carr has a few of her horses wrong with the handicapper at present but Imperial Djay has come back down to a mark he won off here and is of interest after running in better company lately.
