St George -6.5 @ 2.10 sportsbet Good win by the Dragons last week against the Storm and like them to add to that win with another one here. They look like they have more structure to their play and can't seem to find any confidence in playing a Roosters side with just one draw in their last 5 games and were easily beaten by the Titans last week. Reports continue to surface that the coach Smith is having problems with several players including half back Pearce which normally means that the players have given up on playing for him. The Roosters have little to play for while the Dragons sit in equal 8th spot for that last semi final spot, and with their very good record against them, having beaten the Roosters in 7 of their last 8 matches, like them to win here Record: 55-83 (-1.84)

Re: NRL: Round 22 2012 Cowboys to win by 1-12 $3.40 @Sportingbet confidence 7/10 Dairy Farmers Stadium, Saturday 7.30pm Last time they met- Manly 42 Cowboys 8 Head to head betting- Cowboys $1.77 Manly $2.10 Saturday night at Dairy Farmers Stadium sees the important clash between the Cowboys and Sea Eagles in a game that could shape the premiership chances of both teams. The Cowboys are currently sitting in fourth spot with a record of 11-8 and were gallant in a loss to the table topping Bulldogs last week. Manly are sitting in sixth spot and also have a record of 11-8, which shows how important this game is. Last week Manly were stunning late winners against the Warriors over in Perth, scoring the winner with two minutes to play. St George -6.5 @ 2.10 :(
Melbourne -12.5 @ 2.00 sportsbet Melbourne have all of their key players back and having either rested or got some time to get their match fitness back, they look good here to end their 5 game losing sequence.Penrith have played better in recent weeks but lack the players to compete with the Storm's players when they are on song. Like them to lift here as the semi finals are around the corner and they do have the wood on them winning their last 8 meetings Newcastle @ 2.28 sportsbet Bulldogs have won 9 straight and deserve to be favourites for the title but believe they may have a blip here as the Knights have also found some form as they have won 5 of their last 6 matches. Both have very good forward backs and like to spread the ball out wide, and as a result have averaged 30+ points in recent weeks. With both teams in good form, taking the Knights here as they have a very good home record against the Bulldogs, and given that the Newcastle need to keep winning to ginve themselves a chance to get into the top 8, then like them to edge this. North Qld -3.5 @ 2.00 sportsbet North Qld were right in the game with the Bulldogs last week but could not hold them off in the second half as they have struggled to win their games on the road this season. They are very good at home, winning their last 5 games there, and can see them lifting here, as Manly have not been in form in recent weeks, and especially their halves, have not led them in the way that is expected of them. They are up against the best here and like Thurston to pull the strings for them and edge this game for the Cowboys Record: 55-84 (-2.84)

Melbourne -12.5 @ 2.00 :) Newcastle @ 2.28 :eyes North Qld -3.5 @ 2.00 :eyes
Parramatta +4.5 @ 1.96 sportsbet Parramatta back some sort of form with a good wins over Melbourne and Brisbane while the Tigers are sliding with 5 losses in their last 6 games. Parramatta have shown the ability to move the ball since they have nothing to play for and this kind of play has been missing for most of this season. The Tigers used to do it but they have lacked structure and confidence, and they are not right. Taking the points as some insurance but like the Eels to keep this close Record: 56-86 (-3.84)
