The Reds are hitting well and like them to score a few off him here. Bailey is 4-4, with a 4.35 ERA and has allowed at least 3 runs in 7 of his last 10 starts, as well as a 5.09 ERA at night compared to a 3.41 ERA during the day. Against the Mets he allowed 13 runs in two starts against them last season, so can see them also scoring a few runs here Tampa Bay - Miami over 7.5 @ 2.13 pinnacle Shields is 7-4, with a 4.06 ERA as he has allowed at least 3 runs in 8 of his last 9 starts, as well as in his last 4 home starts (total of 17 runs). His ERA is worse at home and at night compared to his day and road starts, and though he gone 4-0 with a 0.36 ERA in his last 3 starts against the Marlins, including allowing 1 run on 4 hits in the 4-2 win at Miami last week, they have seen enough of him to score some runs here. Sanchez is 3-5, with a 3.40 ERA and has allowed at least 4 runs in 3 of his last 4 starts as well as going 1-1 with a 4.95 ERA against Tampa Bay, and he allowed 4 runs on 7 hits and 3 walks, with 2 HR's in the 4-2 home loss to them when pitching opposite to Shields. Atlanta - Baltimore under 7.5 @ 1.99 pinnacle Beachy is 5-4, with a 1.98 ERA as he has allowed 2 runs or less in 8 of his last 10 starts as well as in 3 of his last 4 home starts. He has a 1.36 ERA at home and a 2.03 ERA when pitching at noght, and like him to contain the Orioles bats here. Beachy is 2-0 with a 2.86 ERA in 4 interleague starts. Hammel is 6-2, with a 3.22 ERA as he has allowed 2 runs or less in 6 of his last 10 starts as well as in 4 of his last 6 road starts. Like him to do well here as the Braves do not often give Beachy run support, so can see this being a low scoring game Chicago Cubs @ 2.36 pinnacle Samardzija is 5-4, with a 3.96 ERA as he has allowed 3 runs or less in 8 of his last 9 starts and like him to bounce back after allowing 8 runs on 9 hits in the 11-3 loss to Minnesota. He has gone 3-1 with a 1.96 ERA in 5 home starts, as well as having a 1.32 ERA when pitching at night. Lester is 3-4, with a 4.57 ERA as he has allowed 4 runs or more in 6 of his last 10 starts, including 3 of his last 4 road starts. He allowed 5runs on 12 hits in a home win over the Cubs but his Red Sox bats are not doing that well of late. Arizona @ 2.33 pinnacle Saunders is 4-4, with a 3.48 ERA and has allowed 3 runs or less in 3 of his last 5 starts. He has a 1.60 ERA on the road where he has given up just 6 runs in 5 starts, and knows this Angels line up quite well when he used to pitch for them, so expect him to be even more focused on beating them. The Angels bats have started to struggle to hit and those who have faced Saunders before are a combined .196 against him. Furthermroe, he is 3-0 with a 2.45 ERA in 5 interleague games over the last two seasons, and allowing 2 rusn or less in 8 of his last 11 IL starts. Santana is 3-7, with a 5.74 ERA as he has allowed at least 4 runs in his last 4 starts (total of 23 runs) as well as 12 runs in his last two home starts. He has a 5.68 ERA at home and a 6.43 ERA at night. LA Dodgers - Chicago White Sox over 7.5 @ 2.07 pinnacle Billingsley is 4-4, with a 3.57 and has allowed at least 4 runs in 5 of his last 10 starts which includes 3 of his last 4 home starts. He has a 4.03 at night compared to a 3.11 ERA during the day and did allow 5 runs in the 6-5 road loss to the White Sox, three seasons ago. Humber is 2-4, with a 5.92 ERA and has allowed at least 5 runs in 5 of his last 10 starts, including 3 of his last 4 starts. He has a high 6.89 ERA at night compared to 4.85 during the day and given his present poor form, then expect him to get once again Record: 84-132 (-13.74)
