Flat Racing Monday 11th June

7.10 Windsor Jacks Revenge could easily still be handicapped to win races and remains in good form but worry has to be the further rain predicted over night all form has come on fast ground although has handle the fibresand surface so may act but cant be risked at that sort of price. Both The Cayterers and Urban Space are course specialists neither showed a lot on reappearances but both could come on for the run, but all The Cayterers form is on fast ground aswell and Urban Space probably has something to prove after that comeback run and remains 4lb above last winning mark. Megalala's front running tactics should be well suited around here but after a productive spell on the AW he has gone a bit quiet and is probably handicapped to the hilt now! Ostentation looks a huge price and could easily bounce back, he isnt the most consistent sort but has been running too a good level since joining Chris Beek, he was given a very strange ride 3 days ago and never got involved in the race, 5lb higher today but Martin Lane takes over in the saddle and handles cut in the ground and would be no surprise to see him run a big race at a tasty price. 1pt e/w Ostentation 14/1 bet365 8.40 Windsor Great Shot isnt over raced for his age and may have a little more improvement in him yet having won on the AW on penultimate start before a good 4th in a competitive handicap off this mark, yet to prove quite as effective on a softer surface and record on AW suggests he is better on that. Abigails Angel was on a sharp upward curve on the AW, nothing more than a respectable effort back on turf last time out entitled to come on for that after 69 days break but even so this mark back on turf might take some overcoming for the time being. For me Barathea Dancer looks a danger to all based on her seasonal appearance at Bath on good to soft ground, tad disappointing last time out but that was on fast ground and over 2f further. Step back in trip likely to suit as is the softer conditions under foot. Useful apprentice takes off a handy 3lb and surely has to go close in these conditions. 2pt win Barathea Dancer 9/2 vc

Re: Flat Racing Monday 11th June Just having a look at Ponty and notice that David Wachman is sending over an unraced 2 year old to run in an ordinary maiden race, class 5, 2 grand to the winner Struck me as a bit unusual - maybe he wants to avoid those 25 runner maiden races in Ireland
