bowles10
Cheltenhams card is as good as it gets, cannot believe the amount of festival possibles running tomorrow. 12.55 Mephisto looks interesting on its first run for Howard-Johnson/G Lee partnership. Formerly with cumani, this horse had a cracking 2004 culminating in the Ebor triumph at York in August. Won't be fav tomorrow so may be worth an interest as i am sure the trainer will want to see what it can do. Result 3rd @ 8/1:tongue2 2.05 Thisthatandtother looks to be the pick of the weights as well chief has been left in. They meet on 20lb worse terms than last years arkle when 'tother was sent off fav only to fall after 2 fences & well chief battled to beat kicking king at 9/1. Albeit, Well chief has improved there is no way the horse is 20lb better than 'tother so i'll be having a crack. The horse has form this season at Cheltenham going down by 7l to monkerhostin (rec'd 17lb) last time which was not a bad defeat due to the weights, previously he gave 10lb to celestial gold in the paddy power & was beaten 2l by a horse who subsequently won the hennessey. result 2nd @ 2/1:moon 2.35 Royal Rosa has been hyped up all week & trainer has admitted this is his best horse. Not suprisingly, it is being laid out for the World Hurdle at the festival over CD so i would expect a fair show tomorrow but will be watching only as i think course specialist Westender, Crystal D'ainay & Monets garden will fight out the finish with Royal Rosa checking them all out needing the run. Donc 3.25 Your a Gassman Ferdy Murphy has gone on record this week saying this will win. that's enough for me when a trainer puts his reputation on the line. He should be followed starting with this valuable prize tomorrow. Result - unplaced:cry
