Question: Kempton on Friday

I read in the newspaper that Kempton was due to host a jumps meeting on Friday, but if the weather was poor it would do flat races on the all weather instead. Well looking at the RP tonight I see that the weather must be poor - because all the races are NHF on the all weather. Bumpers on the sand!! 1. Is this common practice? 2. Are the horses that were entered for jumps the same horses that will race on the sand instead? 3. Can we get some value out of these races, where horses were entered to jump - but now will not??

Re: Question: Kempton on Friday This happened a few times last winter that 'bumper' cards were put on at the all weather tracks These are not the same horses that would have run at the scheduled Jumps meetings They're also not all strictly 'bumper races' in the usual sense - as you can see if you look at the race conditions For example the 4.55 is open to horses which have run in at least one Chase
