I see it has been deleted now, my question is does anybody have any archived pages from it or indeed the entire thread saved on their computer?.... Her selection process was the holy grail of horse race betting. The profit was great because of the ratchet and a high strike rate. I don't think the selection process was ever revealed. The success of any betting system depends entirely on the selection process. You need to have a strike rate that allows for profit. A staking plan then manages your money inside that context. On its own a staking plan is useless and pointless. I've seen a few people now apply this staking plan, which btw. is nothing more than % bank with plateau's, and think its the dogs bollocks and should be applied everywhere even with a selection process that is as good as random, and expect the staking plan to provide profit. It won't. Staking plans only work inside the context of a selection process. And as there can be many different selection processes some plans are better than others given a specific selection process. Would you apply Maria's staking plan where your selection process has you betting on selections that are always priced around evens ? Of course not, there's no point as you don't have varying prices. Get a selection process first. Work on it until you have a profitable strike rate. Apply simple level or % staking until you get suficient confirmation you got that. THEN look for the most appropriate staking plan. Bank % with plateaus based on price range will only appy to systems with large variations in price. ( in fact i suspect fixed profit staking, aiming for the same profit on each bet, is a better alternative, certainly one to examine ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
