richard-westwood Posted January 27, 2012 Share Posted January 27, 2012 its that time of year again where im on the lookout for some nice ante post bets for the big races and after last years 66/1 winner (blue bunting) ...ive been scanning the ante post markets for a potential bet this year ran the field through the speed spreadsheet : camelot 148 3/1 parish hall 143 20/1 power 140 14/1 no surprises there at the top with camelot recording a fast time at doncaster (same profile as blue bunting) but i see that parish hall has been confirmed a 2000 guineas target whereas aiden o brien might not run power against camelot and keep him for the irish one instead .at this early stage parish hall stands out for me on both value (6x the fav) and the fact his time was done at newmarket (big factor ) as many horses cant run their best races there .at this early stage.... proven target ,course time rating and price all point to parish hall as outstanding e.w bet 5pts e.w for me Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
