410 Lingfield – Alhaban – 6/1 BOG VC There are some definite doubts about this horse who has come tumbling down the ratings and following a break and hopfully a pipe opener, is quite possibly ready to strike. He was held up and came very wide in his last run, coming home well and although it would be pushing it to say the winner gave his absolute best, the 4th has come out and won since beating a subsequent winner and the 3rd, Eastern Gift had previously run reasonably in a handicap. In fact there is a line through this horse which puts the selection pounds in front of Shared Moment whom he receives 5lbs from in the race today. The extra furlong should suit given the way he finished last time out.

Re: BBOTD - Friday 20th January 2012 Deveze - 4.55 Wol (1pt win 5-1 BET365 BOG) Very low grade handicap with lots of maidens and infrequent winners. Deveze got off the mark at 11th attempt last time out at Kempton, and could well follow-up now that she has learnt how to get her head in front.
