He is quite closely match with the current favourite Kid Cassidy who he finished about 3 1/2 lengths behind in his last outing at Doncaster, and gets a 2lb swing in the weights in his favour too this time around. He has proven himself at the Cheltenham festival before, finishing 2nd by a neck in the Fred Winter last year as a 33/1 shot. Gets into this race towards the bottom end of the weights (10-8), which looks good given that 12 out of the 15 winners have carried more than 10st12oz. Been given February off by trainer Alan King so comes into this fresh. Will be wearing blinkers for the first time and has supposedly schooled well in them. Ground is of no concerns and it wouldnt surprise me to see him put in a big run here. 1pt EW Kumbeshwar @ 14/1 (Bet365)
