3.05 Warwick: Highland Lodge (13/8 Hills) Not got loads of time in the morning so will get this one out of the way, Highland Lodge has been impressive in his two novice hurdles so far this season, he won at Exeter and then bolted up at Haydock in a better race beating a fancied McCain horse in the process. This is a Grade 2 race at Warwick but it doesnt look that strong to me and he should be able to complete the hat-trick without much fuss.

Re: BBOTD Saturday 14th January Selections *Well Regarded - Kempton 2:50* Unexposed horse for Emma Lavelle who has done so well with her recruits this season, and this horse ran a great race on its only run over this 2m 5f trip when 4th at Cheltenham in a Grade 2 behind Fingal Bay @ 40/1. A reproduction of that effort should see it go very close here in this race. Barbatos has come out and franked the form since also. Dougie Costello gets the ride ahead of Jack Doyle, it is his first ride for Emma Lavelle interestingly. She has also had 3 winners from her last 5 runners at the track. Good chance in what is a very competitive race. *1 Point WIN @ 10/1 VC BOG*
