Re: Genting Poker Series (Live Tour) 2012 Didn't last very long. pushed with K7 suited after 2 raises and took down a pot of about 12,000. but that only pushed my stack up to about $35,000. With blinds at 2000/1000 and 200 anti knew I would have to make another move. Card dead for 2 rounds and then table breaks. Which was a real pain as the table was quite tight. Moved in next seat to Andy but with the 2 chip leaders at the table. First 5 hands they show down AA's twice, JJ's and KK's. Then chip leader raises from early position and I knew he was raising light. Get J10 suited my best hand for 30 minutes so push. Of course he calls and shows 22 which hold up and I am out. Enjoyed the experience especially having satellited in. I am now 2 for 2 at fox sats having won both I have played However should have been more careful when I was at 65,000 last night with an hour to go. Coming back with that sized stack would have given me time to play my game.

Re: Genting Poker Series (Live Tour) 2012 made it to day 2 but was below average chips - built stack up well in first hour but then my re-re-raise with AdKd was called by 88 and no help from the dealer. I had 20000 left and my next hand was all in with AQ vs KQ and a K flopped, obviously not my turn to win a race even when well odds on!! A well run event, I would recommend the next live leg in Sheffield for any of you guys that live north of Watford.

Re: Genting Poker Series (Live Tour) 2012 We tweeted each other a couple of times but I never spotted the fella in his British Heart Foundation shirt and he didn't reply when I asked what table number he was on. He didn't make it to day 2 but can't tell you what happened after he got to 37000 chips pretty swiftly.

Re: Genting Poker Series (Live Tour) 2012 Been a difficult couple of weeks with hardly any prep or sleep but still hoping to play the GPS - Grand Final (day 1a) tomorrow from 1pm. Live stream/commentary/selected chip counts/structure etc available via Genting Poker Series Due to family circumstances may be playing it a little differently to my normal game so don't be too shocked if you see an early exit. Should be fun though and still freerolling following the freeroll promotional win & subsequent leg 6 win. Good luck also to PL's SonicMan who I believe is playing and any other PL'ers ofc.

Re: Genting Poker Series (Live Tour) 2012 The freerolling continues (for a while at least) Big thanks for all the support guys, both here & via twitter/facebook, means the world to me. Full update/report will follow soon, but quick summary: Early > Totally outclassed (as expected and understandably) by not only the likes of Akenhead & Ross Boatman but the many other quality regs. Fell to just 7k at one point from 30k start. Mid-game > Found the glorious combination of first man'ing up and started battling back with very little followed swiftly by some eventual good cards. Late-game > Schoolboy Bart errors returned and kind of messed up the last level, but in all honesty I was really wanting to chip up or bust out to avoid a "wasted" 2nd day away from helping mum following her op and/or my sister having to travel over to help out. As it was I missed the last train and eventually made it to London lodgings at 3.15am and back to mums at 10.30am with a couple hours sleep. Will return on Saturday - Day 2 with 31.9k (should've been 48k if I'd played more sensibly, having been up to 54k at one stage), just under 1/2 average I think (tbc) with blinds starting at 1600/800+100 so 20 bigs. Do'able but need to get grinding hard & fairly promptly. Will be on later but I need to first work on the logistics of actually making it up for day 2.
