MaxPower Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 This horse has great form against some of the fancied internationals in the Melbourne Cup this year and has been beating them easily, however he is nt one of the favourites for the Melbourne Cup. How do you guys rate Jukebox Jury against the likes of Americain, Dunaden, Bauer etc...?? For the record i like the horse and am considering backing him, even though his racing style doesnt appear as though it will help him in the Melb Cup the odds on offer appear very nice. Quote
Trotter Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Re: Jukebox Jury - Melbourne Cup? He's a terrific horse........won 2 group one races and about 5 group 2 races He seems to be a bit ground dependent though and really needs some 'soft' in the going - I don't know if he'll get that in melbourne ? Stays well, game front runner.....when the conditions are right i reckon he could beat any of the European challangers. I don't really follow Aussie racing but I hear that the usual scenario is that they go pretty slow then sprint like hell in the finish. I think if that's happening in the race he'll go off on his own and try and make it a test of stamina. Quote
