Very frustrating day for me yesterday with some very big prices returned at donny and i looked long and hard at Brae Hill but decided on combi bets instead of backing it e/w on its on :\ wasn't all bad as i got out of jail in the lucky last although there was a R4 on it. Have been keeping an eye on this meeting as Mark Johnston had plenty of entries for the meet but none have turned up! The Barron sends one over and has a big chance imo be interesting to see if theres money for it i would certainly think so. Good horse when at best but was poor last year dropped dramatically in the weights and this is lower than grade he usually runs in albeit on first AW run and has a tongue tie on for the first time to keep on the straight and narrow. Will be up with the pace and hopefully booted on in the last furlong. Think it will go very close:hope

Eleven go to post for the lucky last. Looks like the very well backed Sergeant Troy will go off at a very short price and Cheery Cat caught the eye with Fallon booked but i'll take these two against the field. CL is only four plenty of room for improvement, won twice last year one on the turf the other over CD here, 7lb higher tonight but if fit for first run back is capable of a good run off 60 in this imo. TOFE has a good draw is another CD winner has had a short break after poor run in January. Gibbo who has won twice on the horse takes the ride and can be involved off 60.
