W H " Pleadge to stand big bets on big events "

The heading of an article in todays Racing Post. Blah blah blah , Ralph Topping ".....we're giving punters a fair crack....". It basically suggests they will be taking chunky bets on the biggest sporting events. What a crock of...... Ever been to one of their shops and asked for £20 or more on a well tipped horse ? Ever heard " i can give you £10 at the requested price and the rest at SP..." I know a lot of younger members of this forum will think that it a perfectly acceptable practice of advertising a price and offering a negligable amount of it before slashing the price. Just because we have to accept what they offer does not mean that it is acceptable.

Thats the trouble Erhaab they make the rules and change them to suit themselves
