lorro
Hi, I'll try to explain what my question is ;) A friend of me, he started betting on horses earlier this week and told me he just bets on the top3 favourites of a race. The most is staked on the top favourite, a little less on the 2 other. Lot of the times he wins 1/3 bets and makes a profit. In one week he got from €10 to €90. Actually my question is: "is this legit?". I mean, can bookies punish this kind of betting? Apparently winning money this way is not that hard, that's why I'm a bit suspicious. Wouldn't want my account closed or limited by doing this also ;)
pete10
Re: newbie to horse racing Well if he keeps creaming the bookie they will shut the account. That is why its good to have plenty of accounts spread it about a bit.

Trotter
Re: newbie to horse racing I'm pretty sure you can't make a regular profit by backing the first 3 favourites If you consider that horse racing has been going for 200 years i reckon it would be pretty common knowledge by now if you could win by that method.
