Philly -2.5 @ 2.29 pinnacle Halladay is 12-4, with a 2.55 ERA as he has allowed 3 runs or less in 8 of his last 10 starts (total of 22 runs) and is 7-1 with a 2.44 ERA in 12 starts at home, allowing 9 runs in his last 5 home starts. He is 2-1 with a 1.45 ERA in4 games against Pittsburgh and he allowed 2 runs in the 7-3 win over them last month. Morton is 8-5, with a 3.69 ERA and has allowed 3 runs or more in 5 of his last 7 starts (total of 23 runs) and none of these innings has seen him go past the 6th innings. Though he has allowed just 5 runs in his last 3 road starts, he is 1-2 with a 7.11 ERA against the Phillies. The Phillies bats arestarting to get some runs and like them to get to Morton as they have done in the past. Cleveland - Kansas over 8.5 @ 1.97 pinnacle Carrasco is 8-8, with a 4.25 ERA as he has allowed at least 3 runs in his last 4 starts (total of 17 runs) with at least 5 runs in 3 of his last 5 home starts (total of 17 runs). He is 1-0 with a 3.86 ERA in 2 starts against Kansas this seson, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits in the 7-3 win over them in May. Francis is 3-11, with a 4.65 ERA and has allowed at least 3 runs in 7 of his last 10 starts (total of 32 runs) with 17 runs in his last 5 road starts. He allowed 6 runs in the 7-2 loss to Cleveland in April this year, and with at least 9 runs scored in 8 of their 9 meetings this season, then like this one to go over once again NY Yankees - Baltimore over 9.5 @ 1.95 pinnacle Burnett is 8-8, with a 4.21 ERA as he has allowed at least 3 runs in 5 of his last 6 starts, as well as in 4 of his last 6 home starts. He is 5-3 with a 4.16 ERA in 10 starts against Baltimore as he allowed 4 runs on 7 hits in the 7-4 win over them in April this year. Guthrie is 4-14, with a 4.33 ERA and has allowed at lest 4 runs in 4 of his last 8 starts. He is 0-8 with a 4.61 ERA in his last 8 starts and is 3-9 wiith a 5.46 ERA against NY. With both sets of bats hitting pretty well and neither pitcher in exceptional good form, then can see them scoring runs here Detroit - LA Angels under 8.5 @ 2.36 pinnacle Porcello is 10-6, with a 4.67 ERA as he has allowed 3 rusn or less in 7 of his last 10 starts (total of 33 runs) which includes 3 runs or less in 4 of his last 5 home starts. He has been in good form in his last 4 starts where he has allowed just 9 runs so like him to do well here. Chatwood is 6-6, with a 3.64 ERA and he too has allowed 3 runs or less in 7 of his last 10 starts (total of 22 runs) with just 6 runs in his last 5 road starts. He allowed 2 runs in the 5-4 loss to Detroit last month and like both pitchers to keep this to a low scoring game Chicago White Sox -1.5 @ 2.88 pinnacle Floyd is 8-9, with a 4.11 ERA as he has allowed 3 runs or less in 6 of his last 10 starts (total of 31 runs). He is 5-0 with a 3.26 ERA in 6 starts against Boston as he allowed 4 runs in the 7-4 win over them last month. Wakefield is 6-3, with a 5.15 ERA as he has alllowed 5 runs or more in 4 of his last 8 starts, including 3 of 5 on the road. He is 0-2 with a 4.18 ERA in his last 6 starts against the White Sox, and allowed 4 runs in the 7-4 loss to Floyd. With Chicago winning 13 of the last 15 games with Boston, like them to lift here and give Floyd the runs he needs. Arizona -1.5 @ 2.51 pinnacle Collmenter is 6-5, with a 2.74 ERA and take away 3 poor starts (of his last 10 starts overall), he has allowed just 8 runs in his other 7 starts. He has allowed 11 runs in his last 5 home starts and gave up just 2 hits in the 1-0 win over the LA Dodgers in May this year. Lilly is 6-10, with a 5.08 ERAas he has allowed at least 4 runs in 5 of his last 7 starts (total of 31 runs) with 21 runs allowed in his last 5 home starts. He is 3-6 with a 4.60 ERA against Arizona, allowing 4 runs on 4 hits in the 4-1 loss to them last month. Re: MLB: July 29th picks New York Mets @ Washington Nationals- METS TO WIN 1,85 The Mets are coming off of a 4 game road weep of the Cincinnati Reds, while the Nationals come into this game losers of 5 straight games, and now sit at the bottom of the NL East. The Mets send Dillon Gee to the mound, who is 9-3 ont he season with a 3.75 ERA and 1.20 WHIP. Batters are hitting just .223 against Gee on the season throughout his 16 games started. Chien-Ming Wang is pitching for the first time in the Majors since 2009 when he went 1-6 with the Yankees (9.64 ERA and 2.02 WHIP). Wang, who has been battling injuries, pitched 2 games in AAA going 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA and 1.59 WHIP. The Mets are 8-3 in their last 11 road games vs a team with a winning home record, 10-4 in thier last 14 games vs a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15, and 15-6 in their last 21 road games vs right handed starters. The Mets are also 5-2 in their last 7 opening games of a series, and 9-4 in their last 13 games vs a team with a losing record. Note that the Mets are 5-1 in Gee's last 6 starts as a favorite, and 8-2 in his last 10 raod starts. The Mets are 12-4 in his 16 starts overall this season. Note that the Nationals are just 2-9 in their last 11 games as an underdog, an 1-5 in their last 6 home games vs a right handed starter. Head to head the Mets are 4-1 in their last 5 meetings in Washington and have taken 6 of their 8 meetings this season. Chien-Ming Wang will face a tough pitcher in his first major league debut since '09, and he doesn't seem to be anywhere near top form. The Mets are rolling, while the Nationals are in a skid.
