Did anyone else lose their role on ftp?FTP bust

I feel like giving up the poker game or something like that, I just feel broken and cheated and destroyed with no chance of financial success other than a full time job which I dont want. I played on full tilt poker trying to grind my way up to nice success from nothing starting at the shitty frustrating micro stakes; I couldnt really afford to deposit much to start higher. I had just over $100 in my bankroll which I know is not a lot to a lot of people on ftp but that took me a year to grind up from virtually nothing playing in my spare time. After experiencing many many swings whilst learning the game and getting frustrated, almost quitting in the process then eventually breaking the $100 mark this happens. So now what do we do?Play at other sites?pokerstars? But what if the same thing happens there?

Re: Did anyone else lose their role on ftp?FTP bust OK, well it is not a secret that I lost with Full Tilt, and that I had to learn a hard lesson. So first I think Pokerstars is safer, I would not say 100% save. As you never can guarantee. Well I would advise do what I always did, I only not did it for one time, as I planned a challenge on Full Tilt which was supposed to start Saturday after black Friday and therefor I put a lot on it, and registered. Than Black Friday came, I deregistered and tried to withdraw but to late. Well normally I only let 50 on an account, and everything over I did withdraw. Should you plan a tourney with higher buy in, than just deposit, but I think you not going for higher buy in than 50. You can set the limit yourself, you can say you let 20 on your account the rest you withdrawing. If you cash good, than just withdraw daily, let the money on your neteller or moneybookers whatever you have, and deposit by need. Well yes very obviously play on other sites, you can't play on Full Tilt anymore, and even if they would come back, I would not recommend it at the moment. Pokerstars is ok, Bossnetwork has nice micro tourneys and 1 euro sit and goes. Well I dont know your bankroll, but I guess you need to build up again. So I would recommend 32red and Bluesquare freerolls, will take a bit, but lot of cents can built as well. On 32red are always freerolls, be careful sitouts be eleminated after first level. As well 32red has freeroll sit and goes, they take sometimes to fill up, and winner gets 8 cents. There as well sitouts get kicked after first level. As well on 32 is in the morning a 10 dollar freeroll chip and chair, you not have to be logged in to take part you can just reg evening before. Bluesquare has 10 cent giveaways sit and goes, 10 players - winner take 5 cent. Sound all very less, but actually, I did built up with both a tiny bit, and once you have a bit you can put in micro sit and goes or tourneys. Stars not has much freerolls, most are qualifiers, there are some daily, but you not win cash there only a seat to the weekly freeroll where you can win cash. As well if you have time enough Stars has a league, you find under region, is different divisons, one division is for play money, at end of month the best win fpp which you can buy in some tourneys with. So don't give up, just watch out for freerolls, will take a bit, but see it as a challenge. You could open a challenge thread, so others could cheer you up when it gets to frustrating. Just when you cash a bit, always take off what is more than the limit you set yourself there As always I apologise for my english

Re: Did anyone else lose their role on ftp?FTP bust Hi guys Like yourselves i,ve just lost a shed load of wonga .To say i,m gutted would be an understatement.not just because of the loss monetarily ,but i actually enjoyed playing at tilt. After playing there for the best part of 4 years now, i actually managed a four figure cash at the weekend , which has now gone down the swanny.Add to that the nearly 100k FT points ,rakeback and half year bonus, and it adds up to a tidy sum.but what is worse is the feeling of betrayal that this has left me with. eventually i will pick myself up and start again. However the thought of trying to find a half decent site ,that doesn,t try to shove their casino down your throat(like most u.k sites do) is daunting. I have got an account at stars but to be quite honest i can,t stand it.I hope you guys out there in the same boat as myself haven,t got so badly stung ,and i look forward to playing a few hands with you all........:sad

Re: Did anyone else lose their role on ftp?FTP bust yea it sucks especially losing that much I guess the only thing we can do is start again which also sucks, the thing I hate most is the amount of time lost working our bankrolls up. I think pokerstars is actually the best site for customer service, loyalty etc etc but I played at full tilt because I liked the academy and the software aesthetics I thought it was more appealing. Poker stars is good but I guess playing on the tables isnt just the same it does have some better features though like being able to sit out all at once rather than going through all tables. The bonus system is good as well. Overall they are a better company they did pay out their US players afterall so im gonna stick with them. Whose to say though that they wont lose their license though, if they do we will still get our money back. You can try other smaller sites but they arent anywhere near as good, cake, bodog, bet 365, wsop
