Detroit -1.5 @ 2.45 centrebet Scherzer is coming off allowing 1 run on 7 hits in the 5-2 win over Kansas, and does tend to pitch well at home. He is also gone 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA in 3 starts against Texas, and last year he allowed just 4 hits in the 4-1 win over them. He opposes Bush who had some problems with his pitching in spring training and now faces Detroit who he has struggled against, going 0-2 with an 11.37 ERA in 4 games against them. Texas have lost Hamilton for a couple of months which takes away some of their potency with their batting, while Detroit showed yesterday that they too can hit the ball. Chicago White Sox -1.5 @ 2.75 centrebet Danks allowed 4 runs in the 9-7 loss to Tampa Bay even though he left with a 2 run lead, their closer allowed 5 runs to TB. He will be looking to bounce back with a better performance here against Oakland considering that he is 4-1 with a 2.48 ERA in 6 starts against them. His batters have been hitting the ball well and tend to do well in day games where they have won 6 of the 7 games they have played. They face Anderson who pitched well in allowing just 1 run in the 5-2 loss to Seattle and then allowed 2 runs in 2-1 loss at Minnesota. He does not get the run support he needs and with a record of 1-1 with a 4.88 ERA in 4 starts against the Chicago White Sox, he is likely to have some problems containing them yet again, while is Danks is likely to keep Oaklands bats under control. Niese is their starter tonight, after solid start against Marlins he was destroyed by Phillies. Pitching at home park will make it easier for him, but Rockies lineup have enough power potential. They are hitting .246 wiht just over 5 R/9. On other side Esmil Rodgers had great start against Pirates with 1 ER in 7 innings. I hope he wont repeat that tonight. Reyes is in awsome form, and when he is hot Mets can produce some runs. Against lefties they are hitting .236 with 7.13 R/9.

San Diego @ 2.04 pinnacle Like Stauffer to bounce back after allowing 4 runs on 8 hits in the 8-4 loss to San Francisco. He has pitched well against Cincinnati as he has gone 2-0 with a 1.65 ERA in in 4 games. Wood pitches for Cincinnati and he allowed 6 runs on 7 hits in the 13-2 loss at Arizona. He has faced San Diego once and allowed 3 runs in the 4-3 loss to them in San Diego last year. With Stauffer, like him to help the Padres avoid the sweep here. Philly -2.5 @ 2.47 pinnacle Halladay has been great in his two starts, allowing 1 run on 11 hits as he comes off allowing 6 hits in the 11-0 win over the New York Mets last week. He has been excellent against Washington, going 8-1 with a very low 1.96 ERA in 12 games, and last year won all 3 games against them, allowing just 1 run and 16 hits in these 3 games. Lannan looks to continue his good start to the season where he gave up 3 run on 7 hits in the 5-3 win over Florida, but has struggled against Philly, going 0-8 with a 6.09 ERA in 11 starts against them, including going 0-2 with a 6.91 ERA in 3 games last year. Like Philly to even up the series Houston -1.5 @ 3.05 pinnacle Rodriguez looks to continue his last start where he allowed 1 run on 8 hits in the 4-3 loss to Florida. He tends to pitch well at home and has gone 2-0 while allowing no more than 1 run in each of his last 5 home starts against the Chicago Cubs. Rodriguez went 1-0 with a 3.60 ERA in 3 starts against Chicago last season, and like him to get some run support here as the Astros bats scored 11 runs yesterday. They face Zambrano who has pitched well on the road, and against the Astros, but he is coming off allowing 4 runs in the 7-4 win over Milwaukee. Liking Houston to continue their good batting form from yesterday while Rodriguez looks good to tie up the Cubs batters April picks: 14-20 (-1.24)
